This fall, The World Around’s Chairman’s Circle journeyed to Marfa, Texas, for a special program in collaboration with the Judd Foundation. Members enjoyed a private tour of the town through the lens of Donald Judd’s radical vision, with rare access to spaces that shaped one of the most influential artists and thinkers of the twentieth century.

Highlights included an exclusive preview of Judd’s restored Architecture Office, opening to the public in 2025, as well as guided visits to landmark installations, homes, and studios across Marfa. Along the way, members discovered how the desert landscape continues to inspire groundbreaking work in art, design, and architecture.

The experience combined extraordinary access with meaningful conversation, underscoring our mission to connect people with transformative ideas and places.
