Trần Thị Ngụ Ngôn is the co-founder, with Nguyễn Hải Long, of Tropical Space, an architecture studio based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Rooted in Southeast Asia, the studio is led by a deep cultural and climatic awareness, specializing in master planning, architecture, landscape, and interior design. Its work aims to create harmony between people, architecture, and nature across projects of varied scales and budgets, carefully responding to context, users, and economic constraints. Each project explores the structural and aesthetic potential of vernacular materials while addressing durability in hot, humid climates. Beyond professional practice, the studio seeks to expand architecture as a platform for connection and shared learning through exhibitions, talks, workshops, and networking events.
