Beatrice Galilee is founder and executive director of The World Around, and an internationally recognized and award-winning architecture curator, author and design advisor. Trained in both architecture and history of architecture, she is the author of Radical Architecture of the Future, published by Phaidon, and served as the first curator of contemporary architecture and design at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Her curatorial career includes serving as chief curator of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale; co-curator of Gwangju Design Biennale, co-curator of Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism. She co-founded The Gopher Hole, an experimental exhibition and project space in East London and has contributed to magazines, catalogues and publications on design and architecture since 2002.
