Dan Howarth is a British design writer, editor, and creative consultant, and director of editorial and strategy at The World Around. Dan works as an editorial consultant for creative companies, with past clients including Condé Nast, Kelly Wearstler, Colin King, and Stellar Works. Dan’s previous roles have included editorial Ddirector at MINI Business Innovation initiatives A/D/O and URBAN-X, and editorial director for branding agencies Base Design and HUSH. He regularly writes for titles including Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Wallpaper*, Galerie, LUXE, Sight Unseen, and Dezeen.

Dan has contributed to design books The House of Glam, Carpenters Workshop Gallery, and Pied-À-Terre. His writing has also featured in Vogue, Departures, Cultured, Farfetch, and The Independent, and he curated a digital exhibition for Google Cultural Institute in 2017. Dan has served on award juries for AIA, Gensler, ICFF, and The One Club for Creativity, and moderated panels for Soho House, Design Miami, NYCxDesign, NeoCon, and many more.
