Emily de Vismes Haldane has had a varied and stimulating career thus far spanning finance, fundraising, and fine art. She started her working life at the Royal Bank of Scotland. After a stint on the trading floor of The Royal Bank of Canada, she abandoned the skyscrapers of The City of London to work for the Royal Institute of British Architects. It was here that she spearheaded transatlantic funding campaigns while getting to know architects whose practices spanned from sole operators to world famous "starchitects", and furthered her deep love of architecture.

Emily is now a professional development coach for small businesses as well as the strategic director of an art dealership. Her energy, insight, gift for communication, and institutional and commercial art world experience is used willingly on behalf of The World Around and the role which it plays in seeing architecture and positive social change become ever more closely aligned.
