Maria Lisogorskaya

Maria Lisogorskaya is an architect, artist, and co-founder of award-winning London studio Assemble. Maria is interested in how we build—our relationship to materials and to each other. Her most recently completed and current projects include Le Magasin Électrique, a new workspace for the Atelier LUMA in Arles, France; a mixed use arts centre development in Treviso, Italy; Summer Exhibition Architecture Rooms at the Royal Academy of Arts in London; new build bio regional rural buildings in Japan for the New Play Earth Park and an exhibition of her fresco paintings at the Beta Biennale. As well as co-directing the practice, she currently represents Assemble at the RA, and is a global consultant to Material Institute in New Orleans.
