Simon Castets is a French-American curator. Since 2022, he has served as director of strategic initiatives at LUMA Arles in France. Simon was director of the Swiss Institute in New York from 2013–2021. He holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from Columbia University and an MA in Culture and Media Management from Sciences Po in Paris. Simon sits on the boards of the Ballet National de Marseille and Swiss Institute, and serves as an advisory board member of The World Around and AFIELD, a transnational network supporting artists as social changemakers.
