Adrian Lahoud

Adrian Lahoud is dean of the School of Architecture and fellow at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London. His work focuses on intercultural and intergenerational approaches to architecture that draw on diverse artistic and scientific traditions. Adrian consults on major international projects and serves on several boards with missions to advance architectural culture including the Architecture Foundation, Design Museum Future Observatory, and New Architecture Writers in London, as well as the Arabic cultural platform Ma3azef, the Great Arab Minds Prize, the King Salman Prize for Architecture and Urbanism, and the RIBA Charles Jencks Award.
In 2019, Adrian curated the inaugural Sharjah Architecture Triennial, the first major international platform for architecture and urbanism in the Global South. He is Convenor and co-chair of the Rights of Future Generations Working Group. His work has been translated into Arabic, French, Mandarin, and Spanish, and featured in the Economist, The Guardian, Folha de São Paulo, Art Review, Domus, and Dezeen among others.
