Dominique Petit-Frère is a spatial designer and cultural strategist based between Accra and New York. She is the co-founder of Limbo Accra, an architecture and research studio redefining urban space through critical design, cross-cultural dialogue, and grounded experimentation. In 2024, she established Limbo Museum, a permanent institution in Accra created to advance bold, interdisciplinary models for architecture, design, and digital culture across West Africa.
“The World Around offers a rare space where design, storytelling, and shared ideas come together. It’s a reminder that architecture isn’t only about buildings, but about shaping the conditions for life. Being part of this community affirms the importance of working collectively, across disciplines and geographies, to imagine new ways of living and making together.”
