Jon Marshall is a British industrial designer based in London. He is a partner at the design studio Pentagram. His work fuses product design with strategy, packaging and digital experiences. 

He studied design at Ravensbourne College and then the Royal College of Art and began his design career working for Ross Lovegrove and then Pentagram where he worked for Daniel Weil.

In 2003 he joined Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby’s product and furniture design practice as Studio Director and together with them co-founded the industrial design consultancy Map Project Office in 2012, where his clients included Virgin Atlantic, Sonos, Honda and Kano.

He joined Pentagram as a partner in 2018 where he has developed designs for Graphcore, Yoto, Caligra and EUFA as well as packaging experiences for Pink Floyd, Heights and Verizon. His interest lies in working with abstract and emerging technologies, creating accessible user experiences and projects embracing sustainability.
