Midori Mishyel Hossain is a 14-year-old student in Bangladesh following the IB curriculum. From a young age, she has been passionate about English, law, and organizing events. Her interests led her to take on a leadership role as the head of operations and science management at Project EcoWave.

Project EcoWave is a youth-led initiative dedicated to fighting water pollution through organized clean-up drives, strategic partnerships with NGOs, public awareness campaigns, and the installation of waste management systems. The project also advocates for stricter environmental policies to ensure long-term, sustainable change.

Midori is known for her organizational skills, strong communication, and drive to make a difference. She is deeply committed to creating a cleaner and safer future for Bangladesh. With a passion for environmental issues and a strong sense of justice, Midori hopes to pursue a career in law and environmental advocacy.

The work that World Around does is important to me because it gives me hope that there is at least more than one person trying to restore our environment to its glory. Together we can stop our lives from being a graveyard of buried dreams and fight for the memories you hope to have in this earth before it's gone.
