Molly Fulghum Heintz

Molly Fulghum Heintz is program chair of the MA in Design Research, Writing & Criticism at the School of Visual Arts. She is the founder and managing director of Superscript Media, an editorial and content strategy consultancy. She is currently a contributing editor at Architectural Record magazine and has held numerous senior editorial roles, including Editor-in-Chief of Oculus magazine for AIA New York, Op-Ed Editor for Co.Design at Fast Company, and Managing Editor at The Architect's Newspaper. With Superscript, she has collaborated on strategy, research, and writing projects for a range of design organizations and institutions, including Pentagram, Frog Design, Material Bank, and the Museum of Modern Art, in addition to producing conversation series for the Museum of Arts and Design, Rockwell Group, and the 2025 Venice Architectural Biennale. Her latest book, The Education of a Design Writer, co-edited with Steven Heller, was published by Allworth Press in June 2025.
