Dong-Ping Wong

Dong-Ping Wong is an architect and creative director based in Chinatown, Manhattan. He is the Founding Director of Food, an international architecture practice located in Chinatown, New York. The practice’s projects include an artists residency in the Caribbean, an Olympic-sized floating pool in the East River named + POOL, an outdoor bathhouse and garden in the Cayman Islands, the North American headquarters for Hypebeast, global flagship stores for the late Virgil Abloh, multiple homes, and a seasonal mahjong club called Food Mahjong Club. His work has been featured in publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Fast Company, Complex, and Wired. Dong-Ping earned his master’s degree in architecture from Columbia University, where he has also taught, and his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.
