Join The World Around Circles for an intimate private studio visit with Mariam Issoufou Architects, hosted by the practice's founder and The World Around board member, Mariam Issoufou.

Mariam Issoufou Architects approaches architecture through research, exploring an intimate dialogue between people, place, and context. The practice works across intersectional sustainability, new urban typologies, and social impact, from social housing in Niger to luxury developments in Sharjah. Across different scales, geographies, and economic contexts, its work considers not only the environmental performance of buildings, but also the cultures, livelihoods, and communities they sustain, with a focus on creating architecture that can act as a catalyst for positive change.

This exclusive visit offers Circles members a rare behind-the-scenes look at the studio's ongoing work, creative process, and current thinking, along with insights from Issoufou herself.
