MINED

Simon Denny is an artist whose exhibitions critically examine the social, cultural, and political implications of the technology industry. Through installations that draw on the visual languages of startups, social media platforms, blockchain systems, and cryptocurrencies, he unpacks how technological infrastructures shape economies, governance, and everyday life. His work often re-stages corporate aesthetics, prototyping cultures, and speculative futures, asking viewers to reconsider the narratives that underpin contemporary innovation.
Denny has exhibited internationally at major institutions including MoMA PS1 in New York, Serpentine Galleries in London, the Venice Biennale, and the Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania, among many others. His practice also extends to collaborative and pedagogical initiatives: he is the co-founder of the Berlin Program for Artists, a mentoring platform that supports emerging practitioners, and serves as a Professor of Time-Based Media at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg.
Across his work, Denny interrogates the intersection of technology, power, and representation, using art to illuminate the infrastructures and ideologies that drive the digital age.
