The Blessings of the Mystery

Carolina Caycedo is a multidisciplinary artist whose performances, videos, artist’s books, sculptures, and installations address the intertwined struggles of environmental and social justice. Her practice contributes to the creation of an environmental historical memory, understood as a vital tool for preventing the repetition of violence against both human and non-human communities.
David de Rozas is a multidisciplinary artist, award-winning filmmaker, and educator whose work merges experimental documentary and contemporary art. Through films and installations, he revisits and repositions the politics of memory, engaging with the ongoing tensions between colonization and decolonization.
Together, Caycedo and de Rozas create collaborative works that weave art, activism, and critical history, offering new ways of seeing the relationship between people, land, and memory.
